JUDGING SCHEDULE for EPS Training Assoc Rally Trials.

Because we are running Tracking Tests in the morning, start time is approximate.

  • Saturday, May 24. 2pm approx. Judge: Lynne Beilhartz, Worthington, Ont.
    1st trial:
    12 Excellent B,
    9 Advanced B
    5 Novice B

    2nd trial:
    12 Excellent B.
    9 Advanced B,
    6 Novice B.

  • Sunday, May 25. 2pm approx. Judge: Ann Knight, Minden, Ont.
    3rd trial:
    7 Novice B
    9 Advanced B,
    11 Excellent B.

    4th trial:
    6 Novice B
    8 Advanced B
    10 Excellent B.

    Tests will be outdoors, at Wimberway Kennels, 808 Memorial Park Dr., Powassan, Ont. Trial area is fenced, and on grass. BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS, SHADE TENTS, ETC.

    Bump ups will be permitted between the Saturday and Sunday trials, but not for trials on the same day.

    EVERYONE is welcome to help with the course changes, and to help with timing and gate stewarding. Timed walk-throughs will follow each course change. The more help you give, the faster the trials will go.

    Accomodations:

  • Overnight parking and camping available at the HQ - no hook ups.
  • Full service camping, and cabins, at Booth Landing Lodge, approx 10 km, east of HQ.
  • Camping also available at Munro Park, 10 km west of Powassan, and Restoule Provincial Park, 45 km west of Powassan.
  • Motels: Beaver Lodge Motel, Hwy # 11 (northbound lanes), just south of Powassan. 705-724-1724; TJ's Motel, Trout Creek, 705-723-5000; and Princess Motel, Trout Creek, 705-723-5230, both about 10 minutes south of Powassan, and both may charge extra for dogs in the rooms.

    Directions:
    From Hwy # 11, at Powassan:
    Take the CLARK St exit, turn right at top of exit ramp, onto Clark, and in to town.
    Clark St. ends at Main St. Turn right on Main.
    Take first left: Memorial Park Dr.
    Wimberway Farms is 808 Memorial Park Dr, 3.8 km east of Main St.
